Do you ship cookies?
Yes, quite often! I’ve successfully shipped cookies to all corners of the U.S. – orders big and small.
How much is shipping?
I offer shipping as a flat rate of $12 for the first 3 dozen shipped, and then pricing increases per dozen from there.
What mail carrier do you use?
My standard form of shipping is the USPS. However, I can accommodate UPS or Fedex, including billing a business account, if necessary! ($12 flat rate shipping only applies to USPS, cost could be higher or lower with UPS or Fedex)
How do you keep cookies from breaking during shipment?
This is a great question! Each cookie is individually sealed in a cellophane bag and then bubble wrapped several times. They’re then packed as compactly as possible, leaving as little room for movement as possible!
Please note: Shipping cookies (or shipping anything for that matter) is not an exact science. Once the package is handed off to the mail carrier I cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur.
What happens if my cookies are broken?
Unfortunately, there is a chance for breakage when shipping cookies. I assure you I take every step necessary to ensure cookies arrive on your doorstep as though you picked them up in person. However, if breaking does occur once your package has left my hands, I cannot be held responsible. Refunds will not be given from Mixed due to shipping damage.
Is there anything that can be done if my package is damaged?
Absolutely! All packages are sent via USPS Priority Mail. This includes $50 of insurance through the USPS. (You can purchase additional insurance if you’d like, just let me know at the time of ordering.) You will submit a claim on the USPS website and receive reimbursement through them. I’ll gladly provide you the tracking number and a copy of the receipt (the items you need to submit the claim), however, I cannot do the claim for you.
